Cyclespot Auckland

Since 1980 I have bought around 20 bikes from cyclespot. The last one was 2020 xsr900 new. Since i was a good customer they gave me a letter saying i would get a discount on parts, accessories and labour of 10%. Good i thought i need some stuff. On the day i paid for my bike I saw they had an Akrapovic exhaust i wanted so i got it, and when i paid i said ‘ive got a discount for that’. Guy said ‘discounts not for exhausts’. Whatever. Next i wanted some tyres for one of my other bikes. Discount doesnt include tyres. Whatever again. When i went to do the first service a week later, i showed the service manager my letter saying i get a discount. ‘not for the first service’ im told. I asked the boss, grant, what exact discount does this letter give me. He either wouldnt or couldnt tell me. I told him what i thought of cyclespot and have never been back and never will. Buyer Beware of Cyclespot, bunch of liars, and thats a common comment about them.
