Two days ago I agreed to purchase a vehicle from Stacey and this vehicle was put on ‘hold’ including the placement of a hold sticker to allow her time to check one request regarding a cambelt with her manager Stephen. I was reassured many times that it wouldn’t be sold whilst awaiting word. A day later and after many hours of attempts to contact Stacey or Stephen to finalise the sale without success I get a call to say the vehicle has been sold to another.
I just don’t understand how a business of this scale could pull a move like this. Just as important as this painful experience is the fact that it took 8 phone calls across a full day to receive a short weak response as to their reasoning. I never once heard from Stephen although I’m sure he’ll respond to this with their side now there’s a record of truth as to how they operate.
Avoid at all costs.
